[Remote] Network Technician

This role will focus on discovering, documenting, and tracking network-connected assets across the enterprise to ensure accurate inventory within the organization's IT Asset Management (ITAM) platform.ResponsibilitiesPerform network discovery activities to identify all network-connected assets across the enterpriseUtilize network discovery tools and techniques to locate physical, virtual, and cloud-based assetsValidate and reconcile discovered assets with existing IT Asset Management (ITAM) recordsDocument and maintain accurate asset inventory information within the ITAM databaseTrack asset lifecycle information and ensure data integrityIdentify discrepancies, duplicate records, and missing assets and work with technical teams to resolve themAssist with database updates, reporting, and asset tracking throughout the projectCollaborate with infrastructure, networking, desktop support, server, and cloud teams to verify asset informationSupport ongoing network projects by providing accurate asset data and documentationGenerate reports and provide project status updates as neededSkillsUnderstanding of enterprise network infrastructure, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, printers, virtual machines, and cloud resourcesExperience working with asset management databases and inventory trackingStrong Excel and data management skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to analyze large data sets and identify inconsistenciesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentCompany OverviewTechnology is mission-critical to your business so it must work — continuously.
