They are seeking a Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer to provide technical systems engineering support for enterprise and financial service customers, conducting product presentations, performing network architectural reviews, and collaborating with account managers on sales strategies.ResponsibilitiesYou will conduct Arista product presentations of Arista’s Open Networking Data Center and Cognitive Campus (including Wi-Fi) networking solutions, CloudVision (Network Automation), Security (Network Detection), Endpoint Security and Real-time Fabric Monitoring solutionsYou will work with customers performing network architectural reviews, identifying pain points, suggesting improvement plans and solutions to integrate Arista product linesYou will collaborate with Arista Account Managers, strategizing on the best sales process identifying the best solutions for customer, ensuring they are fully versed in all aspects of the solutionYou will architect, design and propose Arista Data Center & Campus network solutions using Arista Recommended design and best practicesEngage customers in Proof of Concept (POC) testing, validating the solutions identified, performing a full range of functional and failure testingPut together design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they supportEngage with customer during network outage escalations, providing an interface between the Customer, TAC and Dev teams though problem identification and resolutionPartner with Sales Team to respond to RFP/RFQsProvide feedback to Product Management and EngineeringRepresent Arista at SDN and Open Networking industry events and conferencesKeep up-to-date on competitive solutions, products, and servicesAuthor white papers on technology and productSkillsBS/CS/CE technical degree requiredYou possess a minimum of 5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience with a focus on Data Center, Campus, and Wi-Fi solutionsExpert level experience with routing and switching including L2/L3 protocolsYou possess recent experience in leaf-spine architecture designExpert knowledge in the following areas: Ethernet, RSTP/ MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, VxLAN, Multicast, QoSExpert level knowledge of industry-standard CLIGood understanding of the competitor technology landscape - Cisco, Juniper, HPNetwork Industry Certification preferred (e.g.ACEL5/7, CCIE (R&S), JNCIE)Demonstrated work experience as either a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE or Network Consulting Engineer preferredExperience with SDN and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) highly desiredPrevious experience building network automation using Python and Ansible desiredKnowledge of competitive products, solutions, and servicesAbility to write white papers a plusBenefitsMedicalDentalVisionWellbeingTax savingsIncome protectionCompany OverviewArista Networks is a computer networking firm delivering cloud networking solutions for large data center and computer environments.
