[Remote] Network Inventory Support Analyst

Kforce Inc is seeking a Network Inventory Support Analyst who will be responsible for post-migration validation, reconciliation, and stabilization of inventory data. This role ensures data accuracy and operational readiness by validating migrated assets and supporting downstream consumers such as orchestration and planning teams.ResponsibilitiesValidate migrated inventory data in Blue Planet Inventory against source systems (e.g., legacy inventory, OSS, spreadsheets, CMDB)Perform attribute-level validation (device, port, circuit, service, logical/physical relationships)Ensure adherence to inventory data models, naming standards, and normalization rulesIdentify, analyze, and document data gaps, mismatches, and anomalies post-migrationPartner with migration, data engineering, and Blue Planet configuration teams to resolve defectsRe-run validation cycles following remediation effortsSupport hypercare activities following go-liveAssist operations, network engineering, and fulfillment teams with inventory-related inquiries and issuesValidate inventory readiness for downstream systems such as orchestration, assurance, and planning toolsProduce validation reports, defect logs, and reconciliation summariesMaintain documentation for inventory rules, assumptions, and validation outcomesSupport audit and governance requirements for inventory accuracyWork closely with network engineering, OSS/BSS, and program management teamsParticipate in migration checkpoints, defect triage sessions, and readiness reviewsSkillsHands-on experience with Blue Planet Inventory (BPI) or similar network inventory platformsExperience validating large-scale inventory or OSS data migrationsStrong SQL or data analysis skills (queries, reconciliation, comparisons)Ability to work with flat files, extracts, and reports (CSV, Excel, etc.)Familiarity with OSS ecosystems and integration touchpointsExperience supporting inventory for activation, provisioning, or assurance use casesUnderstanding of service lifecycle and impact of inventory accuracy on operationsStrong understanding of telecom/network inventory conceptsPhysical and logical network elementsCircuits, services, ports, and relationshipsL2/L3 topology conceptsExperience with Blue Planet orchestration or activation workflowsExposure to inventory source systems such as legacy OSS, CMDBs, or custom inventory platformsExperience in post-migration hypercare or transformation programsPrior work in large-scale telecom, ISP, or network modernization initiativesBenefitsMedical/dental/vision insuranceHSAFSA401(k)Life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employeesSalaried personnel receive paid time offHourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by lawHourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leaveCompany OverviewKforce is a solutions firm specializing in technology, finance and accounting, and professional staffing services.
