This role involves providing technical guidance, evaluating system performance, and implementing network solutions across various technologies.ResponsibilitiesConsultation: Provides consultative direction and technical advice relating to the Bank's network infrastructure, addressing reliability, availability, scalability, security, and recovery. Supports all areas of Technology and OperationsAnalysis: Evaluates the performance of existing and proposed system components in delivering solutions for technology, operations, and business needs. Analyzes hardware platforms, operating systems, applications, and network components. Provides key insight into new system software, hardware, and network integrationSupport: Implements, upgrades, and supports network hardware and software. Coordinates new technologies spanning hardware platforms and different operating systems that require network communication. Coordinates network communication and data integration methods for new technologies. Performs planning and documentation throughout support activities. Resolves complex technical problems and automates tasks for improved efficiencyTechnical Expertise: Maintains a strong knowledge base to effectively consult and direct others on technical matters.
