They are seeking a skilled Network Automation Engineer who will blend strong Python development skills with deep networking expertise to automate network configuration and change management across multi-vendor enterprise networks.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop network automation solutions in Python using Netmiko, Nornir, NAPALM, and ScrapliBuild automation pipelines for configuration management, deployment, and validation across multi-vendor environmentsDevelop integrations with network APIs including NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI, and vendor-specific APIsImplement source-of-truth platforms such as NetBox or Nautobot and drive automation from authoritative dataBuild infrastructure-as-code for network configuration using Ansible, Terraform, and Jinja2 templatingImplement network testing and validation using pyATS, Genie, Batfish, and SuzieqDevelop CI/CD pipelines for network changes including pre-deployment validation and rollbackBuild observability and telemetry pipelines using gNMI, streaming telemetry, and modern analytics platformsImplement intent-based networking patterns and self-healing network workflows that let the network express desired state declaratively and converge toward it automatically when drift or failures occurAutomate compliance and audit workflows across the network estate, generating evidence on demand and continuously verifying that network configuration matches the policies the organization has committed toPartner with network engineering teams to identify and automate high-impact manual workflowsDevelop reusable libraries, frameworks, and abstractions adopted across multiple automation effortsMentor network engineers on Python development, software engineering practices, and modern automation patternsStay current with network automation tooling, vendor API evolution, and broader industry developmentsSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related fieldFive or more years of network automation experienceStrong Python development skills including OOP, testing, and packagingDeep networking fundamentals including routing, switching, and BGPHands-on experience with Netmiko, NAPALM, Nornir, or ScrapliExperience with modern network APIs (NETCONF, RESTCONF, gNMI)Strong experience with Ansible and Jinja2 templating for network automationFamiliarity with NetBox, Nautobot, or other source-of-truth platformsStrong Git-based workflows and CI/CD experienceExcellent communication and collaboration skillsCisco DevNet or vendor automation certificationsExperience with multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Arista, Juniper)Familiarity with streaming telemetry and modern observability stacksOpen-source contributions to network automation projectsExperience with cloud networking automation in addition to on-premisesBenefitsCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits.Full-time, direct W2 with Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C, no 1099, no third-party).Long-term, multi-year, aligned to the Bright Vision SOW delivery roadmap.We will support H1B transfers for qualified candidates.100% remote, full-time, direct W2 position with Bright Vision Technologies.No new H1B sponsorship available.Reasonable accommodations for applicants’ and employees’ religious practices and beliefs, as well as mental health or physical disability needs.Equal opportunity employer and place a high value on diversity and inclusion at our company.Company OverviewBright Vision Technologies is an information technology company that offers software development, AI, and cybersecurity services.
