[Remote] Network Automation Engineer

CyberX Info System is seeking a hands-on Network Automation Engineer with deep expertise in fiber access technologies and strong Python development skills. The ideal candidate will work directly with network devices, analyze real-time configurations, and develop automation solutions to optimize operations in a telecom access network environment.ResponsibilitiesWork directly with access network devices (ONTs and OLTs) to analyze configurations and operational dataDevelop and implement Python-based automation scripts based on live device insightsTroubleshoot and optimize fiber access network performanceInterface with central office and customer premises equipment environmentsCollaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve network efficiency and automation coverageEnsure secure and compliant access to network infrastructureSkillsStrong hands-on experience with ONT (Optical Network Terminal) infrastructure (primarily in central office environments)Strong hands-on experience with OLT (Optical Line Terminal) systems at customer or field locationsProven experience in Python programming for automation and scriptingAbility to independently access devices, interpret configurations, and develop solutionsFamiliarity with telecom access network deploymentsExperience with Nokia and/or Calix network equipmentBackground working on Verizon-like environments or similar (e.g., VNM-type roles)Knowledge of network provisioning, troubleshooting, and lifecycle managementStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsCompany OverviewCyberx Info System's unique brand differentiation is our relentless focus on customer-centric mobile app development.
