The role involves implementing EHR software, providing training, ensuring compliance with regulations, and improving overall revenue cycle efficiency.ResponsibilitiesAssess healthcare organizations' current Netsmart EHR systems and revenue cycle processesLead or support the implementation of EHR software and workflows, ensuring smooth integration with existing systemsProvide technical support during system go-lives and monitor for system performance issuesRecommend process improvements related to EHR workflows to ensure efficient, error-free patient data managementEnsure Netsmart EHR systems are fully integrated with revenue cycle management processes, from patient registration through billing and collectionWork closely with finance, billing, and coding departments to align system capabilities with billing and reimbursement standardsAnalyze and provide solutions for issues related to claims processing, payment cycles, and insurance reimbursementsSupport the development and implementation of automated processes to improve efficiency and reduce denialsDevelop training materials and conduct training sessions for healthcare providers, clinical staff, and administrative staff on Netsmart EHR and RCM system usageOffer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for users experiencing technical issuesEnsure that staff are properly trained on documentation standards and coding processes to avoid billing errorsEnsure that Netsmart EHR systems comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, ICD-10, and other relevant standardsStay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to EHR and RCM, ensuring the organization is always in complianceAssist with audits and address any discrepancies identified in billing or codingAnalyze and recommend strategies for improving revenue cycle efficiency, including reducing claims denials and improving payment accuracyDevelop and maintain reports to track revenue cycle KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and EHR performance metricsProvide recommendations to optimize workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and improve patient billing experiencesAct as a liaison between IT, healthcare providers, billing departments, and management to ensure the seamless operation of both EHR and RCM processesFacilitate communication between clinical and administrative teams to ensure timely and accurate documentation, coding, and billingProvide insights and recommendations to senior management on the status and effectiveness of EHR and RCM systemsSkillsAt least 3-5 years of experience working with Netsmart EHR systems, revenue cycle management, or healthcare consultingStrong experience with Netsmart EHR software solutions (myAvatar or myEvolv)Experience with healthcare billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and insurance reimbursement proceduresStrong knowledge of EHR systems and healthcare revenue cycle processesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsProficiency in using healthcare management software, Microsoft Office, and data analytics toolsBachelor's degree Healthcare Administration, IT, or a related fieldCertified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP)Other certifications like Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) are a plusCompany Overviewenkompas Technology Solutions provides strategically aligned business and technology services to the enterprise market.
