The NetApps Consultant will focus on the end-to-end management and optimization of NetApp storage environments, administering and supporting storage solutions to ensure operational excellence and system reliability.ResponsibilitiesAdministering and supporting NetApp storage environments, particularly ONTAP, Network Attached Storage (NAS), and Storage Area Network (SAN) technologiesConfiguring, provisioning, upgrading, and maintaining storage resources for optimal performance and availabilityMonitoring storage usage and performance, identifying potential issues, and proactively troubleshooting and resolving them to ensure continuous operationImplementing and supporting backup, replication, disaster recovery, and hybrid cloud storage solutionsDiagnosing and addressing hardware, software, and storage connectivity issues across enterprise environmentsCollaborating closely with infrastructure, operations, and cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and service qualityDocumenting technical procedures, configurations, and system changes while adhering to best operational practices and organizational standardsSkillsExpertise in administering and supporting NetApp enterprise storage solutionsIn-depth knowledge of SAN and NAS protocols, including NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and Fibre ChannelHands-on experience with ONTAP storage administration, including troubleshooting and optimizing storage performanceProven ability to diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and storage connectivity problems in a timely mannerFamiliarity with enterprise backup, replication, disaster recovery strategies, and hybrid cloud storage architecturesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on communication and delivering clear, comprehensive documentationDemonstrated success working both independently and as part of a multifunctional team in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to following best practices and maintaining up-to-date technical documentationNetApp Hybrid Cloud CertificationNCDA – NetApp Certified Data Administrator (ONTAP)NCSE – NetApp Certified Support Engineer ProfessionalNCSE OS – NetApp Certified Support Engineer, ONTAP SpecialistNAHSE – NetApp Accredited Hardware Support EngineerCompany OverviewECCO Select is an information technology and services company.
