They are seeking a talented and motivated Contract Developer to develop database-driven applications that support core business functions, utilizing Oracle databases and Microsoft .NET technologies. Responsibilities Developing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers Perform complex SQL queries and optimize database performance through tuning techniques Designing applications using .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, or WinForms/WPF, and integrating these applications with Oracle databases Analyzing user requirements and translating them into technical solutions Debug, test, and resolve issues related to applications and databases, ensuring high-quality deliverables Participating in code reviews, following established coding standards, and assisting with application deployments and production support Collaboration with QA teams, DBAs, and end-users to ensure seamless implementation and operation Documenting technical designs, application logic, and supporting ongoing maintenance Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience combined with relevant technical training 1 to 5 years of application development experience Hands-on expertise with PL/SQL and .NET technologies such as C# and the .NET Framework or .NET Core Experience with RESTful APIs, ASP.NET MVC or Web APIs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS Familiarity with Visual Studio (at least 1 year) Experience with source control systems like Git or TFS Ability to develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers Ability to perform complex SQL queries and optimize database performance through tuning techniques Ability to design applications using .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, or WinForms/WPF Ability to analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions Ability to debug, test, and resolve issues related to applications and databases Strong analytical skills Attention to detail Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment Familiarity with WebLogic Server/Administrator Knowledge of legacy systems such as Oracle Forms Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies Knowledge of safety-conscious development practices Benefits Comprehensive health and income protection benefits 401(k) savings plan Paid vacations Flexible work arrangements Company Overview It was founded in undefined, and is headquartered in , with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
