[Remote] Need HSM Administrator and HSM Infrastructure engineer-100% Remote

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NorthITE is seeking a skilled HSM Administrator and HSM Infrastructure Engineer for a remote position. The role involves the administration, operation, and support of HSMs, as well as designing and implementing security solutions and managing cryptographic key lifecycles. Responsibilities • Administration, operation, upgrade and support of HSMs • Design, test, and implement changes/additions to HSMs in the Infrastructure • Monitoring and troubleshooting HSM on day-to-day basis • Work with Infrastructure team on configuration management • Develop HSM configuration standards based on compliance requirements and industry best practices • Work with development team on integrating new/updated HSM and key management services • Implement, operate and maintain physical and virtual machines in production and disaster recovery locations • Ensure 24/7 uptime of the HSM services • Participate in defining and developing the strategic plan for HSM and key management infrastructure for the service • Troubleshoot customer-reported issues through reviewing HSM API's • Design, architect, implement, and maintain HSM-based security solutions • Support secure room operations, including device handling, physical access control, and chain-of-custody management • Implement encryption solutions for data at rest and in transit, including TDE for databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) • Administer & maintain Hardware Security Modules (IBM, Futurex, Thales, Entrust, etc.) • Develop and document processes for HSM lifecycle management, key ceremonies, and system hardening • Support cryptographic key management systems (KMS) and key lifecycle practices • Respond to incidents, perform troubleshooting, and contribute to secure operational uptime • Maintain strong documentation, inventory control records, and asset tracking within the secure environment • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to stand up new security solutions and ensure alignment with compliance standards • Develop and maintain technical diagrams, SOPs, and procedural documentation • Monitor systems and implement alerting mechanisms for operational awareness • Participate in audits, access reviews, and operational process assessments Skills • Administration, operation, upgrade and support of HSMs • Design, test, and implement changes/additions to HSMs in the Infrastructure • Monitoring and troubleshooting HSM on day-to-day basis • Work with Infrastructure team on configuration management • Develop HSM configuration standards based on compliance requirements and industry best practices • Work with development team on integrating new/updated HSM and key management services • Implement, operate and maintain physical and virtual machines in production and disaster recovery locations • Ensure 24/7 uptime of the HSM services • Participate in defining and developing the strategic plan for HSM and key management infrastructure for the service • Troubleshoot customer-reported issues through reviewing HSM API's • 7+ years System Administration experience • Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and public key infrastructure (PKI) for certificate management • Experience managing enterprise level cryptographic solutions • Hands on administration of: Encryption server, Key management server, Tokenization methods • Hardware Security Module (HSM) installation and management • Linux OS skills;
