[Remote] National Account Executive

The National Account Executive will drive commercial success through revenue growth and market share gain while ensuring great customer experiences and developing strategic growth plans for key customers.ResponsibilitiesLead & set the direction and execution of all Account Management activities including revenue growth, maintenance of existing business (MOB) and project deploymentsEngage in Business Development activities that drive incremental growth with existing customersExecute on Strategic Initiatives within key accounts including new product launches, customer adoption of digital products and selling FMA as a total solution provider that includes hardware, digital / software, and serviceDevelop and execute strategic account-based business plansDevelop, lead, and facilitate cross functional teams that deliver excellent customer experiences throughout the customer journey. From product launches to phase-outs with Product Management, from project deployments to resolving customer escalations with Customer Solutions, from business development & strategi initiative to driving sales revenue, the Account Executive will play all positions (Offense & Defense)Prioritize and conduct sales activities in parallel with meeting administrative responsibilities to ensure that both critical to customer and critical to business goals are achievedBe accountable for driving sales activity that meets or exceeds annual revenue goalsManage account specific tradeshows and partner with marketing to drive business growthMaintain accurate monthly demand forecast for portfolio of customers as part of overall business SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Plan) processProactively manage and maintain sales pipeline and opportunity funnel while partnering with outside sales agencies (where applicable)Successfully manage pricing negotiations, collect and assess market and competitive intelligence while providing strong internal and external communications both externally with customers and internally within the businessPrioritize time to ensure overall business and individual objectives are achieved including account management, business development and strategic initiativesSkillsBachelor's degree in business, marketing or related fieldMust have at least 10 years of commercial and/or key account management experience with large national or global customersPrefer 5-10 years of capital equipment, solution selling, aftermarket experience selling to range of customers from large enterprise to 'mom & pop'Exceptional communications, presentations, and negotiationsTeam builder; strong communicator, facilitator, and motivatorAbility to manage multiple accounts while seeking new business development opportunitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn systemsProven track record of exceeding sales goals and organic growthAbility and desire to work in face paced, entrepreneurial environmentAbility and desire to travel approximately 50% of the timeDriven, adaptable sales professional that is proficient at developing customer-focused solutions and deploying them with strong relationship management, presentation and negotiation skillsStrong interpersonal communication, conflict management and influencing skillsProven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth team environmentDemonstrates a 'growth mindset' by continuously seeking feedback, learning from challenges and adapting to drive sustained revenue growthMust be proficient at analyzing data, building commercial insights for strategic decisionsKeen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problemsDrive for results with strong prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlinesMBA PreferredArchitectural paint industry experience is a plusBenefitsPerformance based bonus planHealth benefits401(k) retirement savings program with company matchPTOCompany OverviewFluid Management, an IDEX company, is the leading global manufacturer of precision paint dispensing and mixing equipment It was founded in 1987, and is headquartered in Wheeling, Illinois, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
