[Remote] Multi-Family Market Analyst

The Market Analyst will support the acquisition and finance teams through financial analysis, market research, and due diligence, while effectively communicating with stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesPerform financial analysis and real estate underwriting on potential investment opportunitiesAssist in reviewing offering memoranda and other seller-provided materials such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flowsConduct efficient and relevant market research and analysis that will be included in presentations to support real estate investment decisionsPrepare high caliber slide decksAssist in property-level due diligence, including lease review/abstraction, rent roll review, loan document analysis, and coordinating title, survey, and third-party reportsPerform market-level due diligence, including sale comps, lease comps, and investment trendsOrganize and maintain acquisitions pipelinePerform administrative support to the Acquisitions and Finance teamsSkillsA bachelor's degree in real estate, finance and/or accounting a plus2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management, finance and/or acquisitionsComfort and proficiency in underwriting and analyzing multifamily/apartment/ affordable housing real estate opportunitiesExperience with quantitative, spreadsheet evaluations, and/or analysis (return on investment, cash flow, net operating income)Advanced Excel modeling skills requiredStrong organizational, time management, verbal and written skillsStrong desire to succeed and ability to work effectively with minimal oversight, while functioning in a team environmentAbility to generate high quality, error-free work product for internal and external distribution on tight deadlines with minimal oversightUnquestionable integrity and ethicsA “Team Player” mentality, with a passion for brainstorming, problem solving, and independent thinkingPassion for multi-family real estate and desire to grow with an exceptional teamMBA degree preferredBenefitsWe offer a generous consulting fee & benefits package, along with the opportunity for development and stability within a well-capitalized, entrepreneurial, and growing real estate investment group.Company OverviewBH Properties is a real estate company offering property rehabilitation services.
