[Remote] Motion Designer (2D/3D Animator)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Comstock Companies is seeking a Motion Designer / 2D–3D Animator to create high-impact animated content for large-format display systems. The role involves producing visually compelling motion graphics optimized for various playback systems while collaborating with technical teams. Responsibilities • Creating animated visual content for large format displays such as LED walls, projection systems, video walls and similar • Developing and executing 2D animations based on concepts and storyboards • Producing high level animation in After Effects including motion graphics, transitions, and timing synchronization • Collaborating with the technical team to ensure animations are adapted to screen specifications such as resolution, aspect ratio and codec • Exporting video content in appropriate formats and optimizing assets • Flexibility to produce and adjust animations in real time to accommodate evolving content needs and last-minute requirements Skills • Professional knowledge of After Effects and adobe suite with hands-on experience • Strong ability to design and execute animations with a clear sense of composition, timing, synchronization, and visual flow • Experience working with multi-resolution displays or willingness to learn quickly • Portfolio in the form of animated videos, 3D renders, or a showreel • Familiar with both Windows and Mac operating systems • Available to work remotely outside normal business hours • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment • Knowledge of 3D software such as Cinema 4D, Blender, Maya, or similar • Experience working with Redshift or other GPU-based renderers • Familiarity with TouchDesigner or Notch for real-time generative content • Experience creating content for screenings or art installations • Experience with multimedia shows, live events, or theatrical productions Company Overview • Comstock is a real estate company that provides management services to lenders, owners and municipalities with interests in real estate.
