[Remote] Mortgage Loan Processor
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Infosys BPM is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor who will be the key contact between the borrower and the Mortgage Loan Operation. The role involves processing loan files, ensuring documentation meets underwriting guidelines, and managing communication with borrowers and loan officers.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Process files from opening through closing of each loan. Take ownership of loan files once received from mortgage loan officer. Be primary contact for all parties involved in the process of the mortgage loan
ā¢ Assemble all loan documents necessary to meet the underwriting guidelines for the particular loan to meet Automated Underwriting System findings
ā¢ Conduct Welcome call and document notice of intent. Follow up with the borrower on the progress of the loan
ā¢ Review all documents for accuracy and completeness and determine the documentation necessary to be included in the mortgage loan file
ā¢ Perform data validation and update empower notes
ā¢ Other tasks assigned
Skills
ā¢ High School Diploma or GED equivalent
ā¢ At least 2 year of relevant work experience
ā¢ 2+ years of Mortgage processing experience
ā¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ā¢ Highly adaptable team player
ā¢ Extremely organized, Strong attention to detail
ā¢ Has worked in Empower or other Mortgage Loan Applications and has managed multiple loan officer relationships
ā¢ NMLS / Certification is an added advantage
ā¢ Knowledge of commonly used mortgage concepts, practices, procedures, and Fannie/Freddie guidelines
ā¢ Problem-solving abilities
ā¢ MS Office proficient
ā¢ Empower proficient
ā¢ Able to work overtime as business needs dictate
