Remote Mortgage Loan Originator - High Commission

Lyons Mortgage Services, Inc. was founded in 1996 and is a Fannie Mae Seller/Servicer & FHA/VA mortgage lender that is licensed in multiple states - New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, California, and Virginia. Lyons is looking for experienced mortgage loan originators who are ready to take the next step in their careers. We allow for fully-remote work and flexible hours, with support from our long-tenured operations staff. All processing and underwriting is done in-house, and we service the majority of our originated loans. We offer a full line of mortgage loan products, including Conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM, Jumbo, Commercial, Second Mortgages, HELOCs, Fix and Flip, Construction, Bridge, Renovation, Multifamily, and Portfolio loans. We will also give you the opportunity to generate income nationwide, with our commercial loan programs & business purpose loans. Required Qualifications: ● Active NMLS MLO license in at least one of the following states: NY, NJ, CT, PA, CA, VA. ● Minimum of 1.year of mortgage industry experience preferred. Compensation Commission range: $98,400 to $354,400 Job Description ● Cultivate, develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships, such as with realtors, accountants, attorneys, developers, financial consultants, and insurance agents. ● Recommend mortgage loan solutions in accordance with lending guidelines and clients’ requirements. ● Manage a portfolio of customer relationships. Seek prospective opportunities to retain and/or develop new clients. Responsible for sales calls. ● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to complete mortgage transactions. Preferred Skills: Customer Experience Management – Implement the strategies and techniques used to ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization and its products and services at every touch point. Effective Communications – Understanding of effective communication concepts, marketing tools and techniques. Mortgage Products – Knowledge of and ability to utilize residential and commercial mortgage products available and apply them to specific situations.
