[Remote] Mortgage Loan Officer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. United Financial Mortgage, LLC is a small but growing mortgage brokerage that has recently invested in new software and marketing campaigns. They are seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to develop client relationships, evaluate loan applications, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan origination process.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Contact and pitch realtors on using our company to help their clients with their mortgage needs
ā¢ Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their mortgage needs and provide appropriate loan solutions
ā¢ Evaluate loan applications and determine eligibility based on creditworthiness, income, and other factors
ā¢ Guide clients through the loan application process, including gathering necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations
ā¢ Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other internal teams to assist with timely and accurate loan processing
ā¢ Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan origination process, addressing client inquiries and concerns
ā¢ Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and changes in lending practices
ā¢ Meet or exceed sales targets by actively promoting loan programs and services
Skills
ā¢ Strong knowledge of mortgage sales and loan processing
ā¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
ā¢ Ability to analyze client's credit profile and make informed lending decisions
ā¢ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously
ā¢ Proficient in negotiating terms and conditions of loans within established guidelines
ā¢ Knowledge of federal regulations, including TILA (Truth in Lending Act) requirements
ā¢ Experience with Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA guidelines
ā¢ Language: English (Required)
ā¢ Familiarity with industry software such as Arive and Lender Price (not required)
ā¢ Bachelor's (Preferred)
ā¢ Mortgage Loan Officer: 1 year (Preferred)
ā¢ MLO License in the state of Virginia (Preferred)
ā¢ Day Shift (Preferred)
ā¢ Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
