The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, optimizing APIs, and collaborating in Agile development cycles.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring / Spring Boot
ā¢ Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
ā¢ Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
ā¢ Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) to design schemas and optimize queries
ā¢ Integrate third-party services and internal APIs
ā¢ Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
ā¢ Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
ā¢ Troubleshoot and debug production issues
ā¢ Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development cycles
Skills
ā¢ Strong proficiency in Java (8+)
ā¢ Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security)
ā¢ Solid understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
ā¢ Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and ORM tools (Hibernate/JPA)
ā¢ Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
ā¢ Familiarity with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)
ā¢ Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles
ā¢ Experience working in Agile environments
