Zyxware Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and maintain native and cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. This role involves developing mobile app features, implementing user interfaces, and integrating backend services while ensuring compliance with industry standards for security, performance, and app store guidelines.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement mobile applications for Android and iOS platformsDevelop and maintain mobile app features using native and/or cross-platform frameworksBuild and optimize mobile applications using Swift, Kotlin, Java, and/or Flutter/React NativeWork with solution architects to define and maintain app architecture and design patternsOptimize app performance, memory usage, and battery consumption for scalabilityPerform code reviews, testing, and implement continuous integration/deployment pipelinesCollaborate with stakeholders, designers, and backend engineers to define requirements and deliver solutionsIntegrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs for enhanced functionalityImplement mobile security best practices, data encryption, and ensure compliance with app store guidelines (Apple App Store, Google Play Store)Enable analytics and monitoring using tools like Firebase, Mixpanel, or similar platformsApply security and compliance standards (OWASP Mobile, GDPR/CCPA, SOC 2)SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5–7 years of experience in mobile application development for Android and iOSProficiency in Swift and Kotlin/Java with experience in mobile app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture)Hands-on experience with iOS and Android platforms (experience with both required)Experience with cloud services integration (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skillsExperience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows2–3 years of experience integrating backend APIs and managing app data persistenceExperience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin)Knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive designExposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise)Experience with app analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools (Firebase, Crashlytics, AppCenter)Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks (XCTest, Espresso, Jest)Knowledge of mobile security practices, including biometric authentication, secure storage, and encryptionExperience with push notifications, deep linking, and in-app messagingUnderstanding of App Store Optimization (ASO) and app release managementCompany OverviewZyxware is one of the largest exclusive Drupal companies based out of India It was founded in 2006, and is headquartered in Trivandrum, Kerala, IND, with a workforce of 51-200 employees.
