[Remote] Mobile App Automation Tester
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Cake Labs is a company focused on building user-friendly, privacy-centric cryptocurrency wallets. They are seeking a Mobile Automation Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of their mobile applications by designing and maintaining automated test scripts for iOS and Android platforms.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for iOS and Android applications
ā¢ Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to ensure code quality on every pull request
ā¢ Work closely with the development team to identify test requirements, report bugs, and verify fixes
ā¢ Perform exploratory and manual testing for edge cases and new feature releases when necessary
ā¢ Continuously improve our testing infrastructure to reduce execution time and increase test coverage
Skills
ā¢ Proven experience in Mobile QA and specifically Mobile Automation Testing (iOS & Android)
ā¢ Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools like Appium, Maestro, or Detox
ā¢ Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and how to test across different screen sizes and OS versions
ā¢ Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise)
ā¢ Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and bug reports
ā¢ Experience writing automated tests specifically for Flutter applications
ā¢ A passion for or experience with the cryptocurrency space
