[Remote] Military Veterans: Commissioning Technician

The Commissioning Technician III is responsible for leading the installation and deployment of complex robotic systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead onsite deployment and commissioning of robotic systems
ā¢ Perform advanced troubleshooting and system diagnostics
ā¢ Coordinate with multiple trades and client teams for installation planning
ā¢ Calibrate, test, and validate system performance to specifications
ā¢ Interpret complex mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings
ā¢ Train and mentor Apprentices and Tech I & Tech II technicians
ā¢ Provide technical feedback and recommendations to engineering teams
ā¢ Ensure adherence to all safety standards and field best practices
ā¢ Travel up to 80% of the time across the U.S. (potentially Canada)
Skills
ā¢ HSD or GED
ā¢ Technical training in Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field
ā¢ 7+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or complex industrial equipment installation
ā¢ Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems integration
ā¢ Strong understanding of BMS, FLS, and industrial networking fundamentals
ā¢ Proven ability to lead small teams or coordinate subcontractors in the field
ā¢ Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
ā¢ Proficiency interpreting and updating technical documentation
ā¢ OSHA 30
ā¢ Amazon Red Badge (training provided)
ā¢ First Aid/CPR
ā¢ Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred
ā¢ Prior work in Amazon Robotics or high-volume fulfillment environments
ā¢ Field leadership or site supervision experience
