[Remote] Mid-Market Account Executive, (West Coast)

Cobalt is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to sell their Pentesting and Offensive Security services to mid-market customers in the US West. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, developing and executing upsell strategies, and collaborating with a team to ensure successful outcomes for customers.ResponsibilitiesManage the entire Sales Cycle in the assigned territory - Opportunity creation to closeResearch and analyze target accounts to identify key decision-makers and influencersProspect, develop and close a rolling pipeline of opportunitiesIdentify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities, expanding relationships within existing accountsContinuously refine and improve sales strategies and processes for greater efficiency and effectivenessWork closely with the account team, including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Business Development Representatives, to ensure seamless execution of goalsPrepare and deliver sales projections/forecasts to managementConduct impactful sales meetings with key accounts to showcase value, address challenges, and secure commitmentsSkills3–5+ years of success selling to technical customers within the technology spaceDemonstrated expertise in selling SaaS solutions to CTOs, CISOs, and other Security LeadersExperience selling security products, with a solid understanding of web application security and related conceptsFamiliarity with the challenges and priorities of modern security teamsConsistent history of consistently exceeding sales goals and driving impactful outcomesHands-on experience navigating complex technical sales cycles and managing multiple stakeholdersStrong work ethic, a results-driven mindset, and a desire to exceed expectationsPassion and experience selling through multiple channelsExcellent written and oral communicationHighly self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environmentAn ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to close deals and build lasting relationshipsBenefitsOTE + equity + benefitsTraining and the opportunity for career advancementFull time, remote opportunity to be based in PSTCompany OverviewCobalt is a PtaaS platform for security and development teams as well as infuses manual security testing with transparency.
