[Remote] Mid-Market Account Executive

The Mid-Market Account Executive will take ownership of the full sales cycle, manage a territory of around 100 accounts, and work to drive widespread adoption of Postman's Enterprise Suite among existing users.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting to closureBuild a strategic plan for your territoryCreate and manage sales sourced outbound opportunitiesExecute a land and expand sales strategy to drive widespread adoption and larger deploymentsEducate customers on the value of Postman throughout the evaluation and adoption cycleNavigate key decision makers to build Postman Enterprise awareness within organizationsLeverage data to understand your customers and prospects to gain insight into their business challengesProvide recommendations based on customers’ business needs and usage patternsIdentify customer needs and collaborate with Postman teammates to ensure long term customer successCommunicate and effectively organize topics appropriately including: billing, legal, security, onboarding, and technical inquiriesProvide a detailed and accurate forecastCollaborate and work with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success Managers, Sales Development representatives, Leadership, etc. to build strategic adoption plans for customers in large accountsBe a great listener!Skills3-5 years experience hunting and closing net new logosExperience with creatively sourcing pipeline outside of inbound lead flowAble to strategically map out and break into accountsRelevant sales experience in an Enterprise SaaS organizationExperience selling developer and/or technical productsExcellent communication skills both with customers and within an organizationProven negotiation and closing skills, as demonstrated by regularly exceeding sales targets while selling right-fit customersStrong track record of navigating organizationsAbility to develop senior level relationships quickly and effectivelyExperience presenting to senior managers and the C-suiteAbility to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously at various stages of the buying processTakes an active interest in increasing customer satisfaction and deepening customer relationshipsBenefitsA competitive equity packageFull medical coverageFlexible PTOWellness reimbursementA monthly lunch stipendWellness programs will help you stay in the best of your physical and mental healthFrequent and fascinating team-building eventsDonation-matching programCompany OverviewPostman is a software company that offers a platform for the users to design, develop, test, and organize custom APIs.
