They are seeking a senior consultant to drive finance transformations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, focusing on various finance modules and ensuring compliance with US and Indian regulations.ResponsibilitiesConduct finance process workshops to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and design solutions for GL setup, multi-currency, intercompany transactions, and consolidations compliant with US and Indian statutory rulesConfigure and test core Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budget Control, Cash & Bank Management, and Project Accounting, optimizing for automation and audit trailsLead data migration for financial master data (CoA, vendors, customers) and historical transactions using Data Management Framework, including validation and reconciliationDefine financial reporting structures, including financial dimensions, SSRS/Power BI reports, and electronic reporting for US 1099, Indian TDS/TCS, and GST filingsCollaborate with technical teams on integrations (e.g., banking APIs, treasury systems) and customizations, ensuring adherence to best practices and minimal technical debtProvide user training, UAT support, cutover planning, and hypercare for finance go-lives, resolving issues in real-time across global teamsSupport pre-sales with finance demos, RFI/RFP responses, and effort estimates tailored to USA/India client needsMentor junior consultants and drive continuous improvement through process reengineering and D365 release updatesSkillsERP/Finance consulting experienceUSA and India experience, but MUST HAVE some experience in the US5+ years D365 F&O/AX finance modules experienceD365 Finance Configuration: ledgers, journals, dimensions, tax engines, budgeting8-10 years in ERP/finance consulting, with 5+ years hands-on in D365 F&O / AX Finance modules across 3+ full lifecycle implementationsProven USA/India project exposure, including localization for GST, TDS, US tax reporting, and multi-company consolidationsExperience in Agile delivery, onshore-offshore models, and finance process optimization (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash)Bachelor s/Master s in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CA, CPA, or MBA (Finance) preferredDeep expertise in D365 Finance configuration: ledgers, journals, dimensions, tax engines, budgeting, and intercompanyStrong analytical skills for gap analysis, process mapping (Visio), and financial close optimizationExcellent communication for C-suite workshops and documentation across USA/India stakeholdersProactive problem-solver with business acumen to recommend out-of-box solutions over custom codeCollaborative team player adept at global delivery and change managementMicrosoft certifications (MB-310, MB-300) a plusCompany OverviewWe are a company of IT professionals who passionately believe that good quality products & services are delivered by great resources.
