[Remote] Metabase SQL Data Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Confident LIMS is seeking a Metabase SQL Data Analyst to help shape data analytics for labs worldwide. The role involves leading the development of data models and analytics dashboards using Metabase and SQL to enhance client software applications and provide insights for third-party researchers. Responsibilities • Lead and execute the development of various data models, databases and data analytics dashboards to be made available to the end users of Client’s customers within Client’s software application and selected third-parties outside of Client’s software application using Client’s current technology infrastructure (AWS, PostgreSQL, Metabase, and React). • Build new “Simplified Models” (or tables, TBD) to query using Metabase. • Build new paid, customer-facing, in-app analytics dashboards in Metabase that query the new Simplified Models for only the authenticated customers’ data (approximately 30-50 queries). • Build new “Public Database” with aggregated and anonymized data from the new simplified models for use in new paid, customer-facing, in-app Metabase queries and made available to select third-party researchers on a case-by-case basis. • Build new paid, customer-facing, in-app data analytics dashboards in Metabase by joining specific customers’ data from the new Simplified Models and the new Public Database that allows authenticated users to join and concurrently display their organization’s data from the Simplified Models with the “benchmark data” from the Public Database (approximately 10-20 queries). Skills • 5+ years of experience as data analyst/data scientist using SQL and building data models and ETL data pipelines. • Expert in building high-performance and efficient SQL queries and data models in Metabase, including Metabase Models, and user-facing Multi-Tenant Interactive Embedded dashboards with Row and Column security features. • Excellent attention to detail, consistently produces high-quality work delivered on time. • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously on remote team to meet deadlines with minimal management oversight. • Conversational in written English. • You are an expert in SQL, ETL (Extract, transform, load), Data modeling, Data analytics. • You are proficient in PostgreSQL, Metabase.
