Main Functions of the Role
Live Text-Only Customer Support
You’ll field incoming messages from customers using a built-in web platform. These chats typically involve login questions, billing clarifications, or shipping updates. You'll never need to speak on the phone—your role is 100% chat-based.
Respond Using Templates and Guided Replies
To maintain accuracy, you’ll rely on pre-approved responses and guided conversation paths. These templates reduce guesswork and help ensure each chat meets service expectations.
Transfer and Escalation Procedures
For issues involving refunds, system errors, or complaints that require senior intervention, you’ll transfer the chat to another team member using one-click handoffs. You’ll never be expected to troubleshoot beyond your training.
Keep Records of Interactions
Each chat session ends with a quick classification and a short summary of what was discussed. This helps improve future customer experiences and keeps the support team aligned.
What a Shift Might Look Like
• Log in to the chat system from your browser at the start of your shift
• Monitor the chat queue for incoming conversations
• Reply to customer messages using prewritten templates or quick edits
• Escalate or transfer messages that need advanced handling
• Tag and log chats before closing them out
• Clock out through the dashboard and review performance stats
Minimum Requirements
• No degree, diploma, or previous customer service experience required
• Strong written English communication skills
• Ability to learn systems through guided self-paced training
• Typing speed of 30+ words per minute preferred
• Dedicated workspace with stable internet connection
Technology Setup
• Reliable laptop or desktop (Mac or PC)

• Minimum 10 Mbps internet download speed
