Remote Mental Health Therapist (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT)

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Remote Mental Health Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality mental health counseling and support to clients through telehealth platforms. You will work with diverse populations, including children, families, and individuals facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise in psychotherapy and crisis intervention will be crucial in helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals. Responsibilities • Conduct comprehensive assessments and intake evaluations for new clients. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs. • Provide psychotherapy using evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and grief counseling. • Facilitate individual sessions, focusing on various issues including PTSD, addiction, and behavioral health. • Utilize crisis management techniques to support clients in acute distress. • Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations. • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. • Engage in clinical research and data collection to enhance therapeutic practices. • Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health treatment methodologies. Skills • Proficient in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and art therapy. • Experience with child & family counseling, crisis intervention, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities. • Familiarity with ICD-10 coding systems, CPT coding, and medical terminology. • Strong background in behavioral therapy, and patient assessment. • Excellent communication skills for effective telehealth interactions. • Commitment to ongoing professional development in mental health counseling.
