We are seeking licensed mental health clinicians to provide teletherapy services to students throughout California. As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, you will deliver high-quality care while collaborating with schools, caregivers, and community partners to ensure student success.

β’ W-2: $55,000β$116,000 annual (bi-weekly standardized payment)
β’ 1099: $70β$90 per session (plus no-show & late-cancel pay)
β’ Flexible Schedule: Set your hours MondayβFriday (3-8 PM) with optional weekends (9am-5pm)
β’ Caseload Commitment for our W2 role: We ask you to commit to a caseload of 25 sessions per week, with a target minimum of 17 completed sessions per week (averaged over the course of the month) to maintain your base salary and full benefits package.
β’ Full Benefits (W-2): Medical, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, CEUs, supervisor support
β’ Daybreak covers around 90% of medical premiums, and 100% of dental and vision premiums for W2 employees
β’ Daybreak covers around 65% of medical, dental, and vision premiums for all eligible dependents

Qualifications
β’ Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT credentials in the State of California
β’ Experience working with youth and families in clinical or school settings
β’ Strong telehealth skills and reliable high-speed Internet connection
β’ Commitment to culturally responsive care and equity
β’ Availability for at least 5 hours weekly during peak hours (3-8 PM M-F) for 1099 contractors
Role & Responsibilities
β’ Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to students ages 11β24 with mild-to-moderate mental health conditions
β’ Build trusted relationships with students and families
β’ Collaborate with school counselors and other providers
β’ Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers
β’ Contribute to the development of clinical programs
Minimum caseload: Varies by employment type (W-2 full-time or 1099 contractor with 5 sessions per week minimum)
