Responsibilities • Coordinate and dispatch medical transport requests promptly using transportation management systems and GPS technology • Communicate clearly with healthcare providers, drivers, patients, and other stakeholders via multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette standards • Monitor real-time vehicle locations using GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS tools to ensure on-time arrivals and departures • Enter accurate data into systems • Optimize routes through transportation planning principles, considering factors like traffic, patient needs, and vehicle availability • Maintain detailed logs of dispatch activities, incidents, and statuses for compliance and reporting purposes Skills • Proficiency with mapping tools and phone use • Strong analysis skills to evaluate routes, schedules, and operational data for efficiency improvements • Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for interacting with diverse stakeholders • Fast typing skills for accurate data entry • Familiarity with multi-line phone systems This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to life-saving services through efficient coordination.
