Remote Medical Receptionist

Position Summary: The successful candidate for this role has a strong command of customer service skills, and is well-trained in service knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to patients. The Medical Receptionist answers the telephone and interfaces with patients in an enthusiastic, courteous, professional manner.
Primary Job Responsibilities...
· Assists patients by determining needs, scheduling or canceling appointments, or referring to correct department
· Verifying insurance
· Using EMR
· Manage and prioritize multiple concerns simultaneously
· Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with patients and working to establish a positive rapport with each one
· Responding promptly to patient inquiries
· Maintaining a positive and empathetic attitude toward patients at all times
· Good attention to detail
· Performs other tasks as needed as assigned by operational leadership.
Expectations:
· Adherence to policies and procedures regarding daily operations and practice staff.
Consistently demonstrates the interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with staff of all levels within the organization

· Previous experience in a medical practice preferred
· High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
