About the position

This temporary position involves scheduling and conducting interviews with applicants. The role requires professionalism and effective communication to gather pertinent personal and medical information during interviews and follow-up calls.

Responsibilities
• Conduct professional, courteous, and articulate interviews and follow-up calls with applicants to gather necessary personal and medical information.
• Review documents, notes, and correspondence for additional information to support the interview process.
• Accurately enter data related to applications into the Application Interview System (AIS) and Assistant Underwriting System (AURA) to document case activity.
• Provide prompt and professional service to all inquiries received by phone or in writing, maintaining departmental standards.
• Correspond effectively using proper grammar and spelling with department staff, underwriting staff, vendors, and other departments to resolve issues and expedite business processes.
• Communicate AppAssist policies, procedures, and guidelines effectively to internal and external customers.

Requirements
• 3+ years of Administrative/Customer Service experience, preferably in a call center.
• Strong medical vocabulary and comfort with medical terminology.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer savvy, especially when working remotely.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in insurance and medical fields.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
