Compensation
Ā Starting salary: $23 per hour with opportunities for salary increases after a satisfactory review within the first 90 days.
Ā Additional 5% pay incentive for bilingual candidates (Spanish).
Location
Ā This is a remote role with a preference for applicants located in Central Oregon.
Essential Responsibilities
Ā Accurately submit initial claims for services in compliance with regulations to ensure proper reimbursements.
Ā Address and resolve issues related to problem accounts and payer denials by submitting corrected claims and necessary follow-ups.
Ā Manage billing and collections for counseling clinics and other employed/contracted providers.
Ā Stay informed on Out-Patient Mental Health billing codes, modifiers, and payer requirements.
Ā Participate in payer audits as required.
Ā Serve as a liaison for clients and clinicians regarding insurance or billing inquiries.
Ā Maintain professionalism and commitment to teamwork while performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ā Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Ā Experience: Minimum of three years in billing/e-billing, ideally in a multi-provider practice, hospital, or mental health office.

Ā Capacity to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
