Your tasks will include verifying patient information, coding procedures and diagnoses, submitting claims to insurance companies, and... following up on any outstanding accounts. Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies and government payers.
• Review and verify patient information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Code medical procedures and diagnoses using appropriate coding standards.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to resolve issues and secure payment.
• Maintain patient records and billing documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies or questions regarding billing.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in medical billing or coding is required.
• Certification in medical billing or coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance processes, and billing regulations.
• Proficient in medical billing software and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively
