[Remote] Mechanical Engineer

They are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems and components for advanced aerospace platforms, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop reliable mechanical solutions.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies for aerospace systemsCreate CAD models, technical drawings, and engineering documentationSupport prototype development, fabrication, and testing activitiesAssist with mechanical analysis including structural and thermal performanceWork with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful system integrationParticipate in design reviews and contribute to engineering discussionsSupport troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical design issuesDocument engineering work and maintain organized design recordsDevelop detailed CAD models and engineering drawingsSupport material selection and component specificationAssist with tolerance analysis and mechanical design validationContribute to prototype builds and engineering test campaignsCollaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are producibleSupport design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA)Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action for mechanical issuesParticipate in system integration and engineering verification activitiesCollaborate with systems engineers to translate requirements into mechanical designsSupport supply chain and manufacturing teams with component sourcing and fabricationAssist with documentation required for testing, compliance, and system verificationParticipate in cross-functional engineering planning and project executionSupport engineering improvements related to weight, cost, and performanceTake on additional engineering responsibilities as the company scalesSkills2–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or hardware designExperience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, or similar toolsUnderstanding of mechanical design fundamentals and materialsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teamsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication and documentation abilitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environmentExperience in aerospace, defense, robotics, or advanced hardware developmentExperience supporting prototype builds and engineering testingFamiliarity with structural or thermal analysis toolsKnowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, or additive manufacturingExperience with lightweight structures or precision mechanical systemsEngineering internship or hands-on lab/project experience in aerospace or hardware developmentBenefitsCompetitive base salary with performance bonusEquity and share optionsFlexible PTO plus 9 bank holidays, 48 hours sick leave, and 5 days bereavement leaveParental leave (2 weeks)Medical, dental, and vision coverageLife assurance401(k)Company OverviewTiberius is a modern defense technology company specializing in advanced weapons systems such as missiles, precision-guided munitions.
