[Remote] Measurement Engineer

This role involves executing advanced dimensional metrology measurement and validation services across various industries, contributing to the quality and accuracy of critical systems.ResponsibilitiesExecute advanced dimensional metrology measurement and validation services across multiple industries (aerospace, auto, energy, civil, medical, marine)Program measurement systems and user interfaces for laser trackers, portable arms, scanners, and other dimensional metrology toolsPerform reverse engineering from physical components, developing accurate CAD models and supporting product redesign or lifecycle extensionConduct measurement data analysis, uncertainty evaluation, and conformance reporting to ensure traceable and reliable resultsCollaborate with customers and internal teams to define measurement strategies, GD&T inspection plans, and process validation protocolsDevelop and maintain clear documentation including standard work, protocols, and customer deliverablesStay current with emerging dimensional metrology technologies and integrate forward-thinking solutions into customer projectsSupport continuous improvement and innovation initiatives, expanding the range of metrology services ATT providesSkillsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering fieldHands-on experience with dimensional metrology systems (CMMs, portable arms, laser trackers, optical scanners, photogrammetry)Strong skills in CAD (CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, or equivalent) and measurement programming software (PC-DMIS, PolyWorks, SpatialAnalyzer, or equivalent)Experience with reverse engineering workflows and CAD model reconstructionProficiency in measurement validation methods, including GD&T interpretationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to travel up to 50% for on-site project execution and customer supportFamiliarity with machining, fabrication, or product design considered a plusDemonstrated interest in precision engineering and applied measurement scienceBenefitsCompetitive hourly rate with overtime and bonus opportunities.401K with a 6% employer match.Excellent medical, dental, vision, prescription, and life insurance programs.Paid Time Off (PTO) and voluntary long-term care options.Career progression, mentorship, and continuous training in advanced metrology technologies.Company OverviewMission: Offer full metrology solutions to our customers – which will reduce costs and improve quality significantly in their broader value chain.
