They are seeking an MDM Consultant to contribute to the implementation of Data Governance strategy, collaborating with various teams to support the rollout of Master Data Management programs and enhance data literacy across the enterprise.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and evolve Data Governance PMO artifacts using Smartsheet and/or JiraFacilitate workshops with data owners and stewards for data discovery, definition, requirements gathering, and CRUD (Create, Review, Update, Deprecate) process designTranslate workshop outputs into current- and future-state data models, data flows, and CRUD process diagramsProduce clear, well-structured documentation, including data requirements, epics/user stories, CRUD process documentation, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and test scriptsPartner with IT and Data Engineering to ensure alignment among MDM, metadata, and upstream/downstream data pipelinesConfigure, test, and deploy CRUD workflows and technical specifications in Syncari in accordance with SDLC standardsDefine and implement data quality rules, validation checks, and exception handling proceduresTrain and support Data Stewards on maintaining CRUD processes, metadata, and data catalog entries; help facilitate Data Governance CouncilsPromote adoption and continuous improvement of data governance practices, literacy, tools, and processes across the organizationSkillsStrong understanding of the four pillars of data governance: Data Ownership, Data Definition, Data Lineage, and Data QualityExperience writing business requirements, user stories, technical documentation, and process flowsWorking knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling; ability to analyze or build relational and dimensional data models, data architecture diagrams, and source-to-target mappingsDemonstrated ability to learn new data and integration technologies quicklyHands-on experience with master data management concepts (e.g., entity resolution, golden records)Exposure to data integration, ETL/ELT, or data synchronization workflowsFamiliarity with SQL for profiling, validation, or basic analysisExperience with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake or AzureTalend MDM experience8-10 Years of experienceBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experienceExperience using Syncari or similar MDM/integration platformsExperience with Secoda or similar data catalog platformsExperience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Sigma)Familiarity with real estate systems or ERP platforms (e.g., Yardi, Workday)Certifications in data governance, business analysis, or data management (e.g., CDMP, DAMA, CBAP, Scrum/Agile)BenefitsWipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits optionsDisability insurancePaid time off (inclusive of sick leave)Other paid and unpaid leave optionsApplicants are advised that employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state lawCompany OverviewWipro is a technology services and consulting company focused on building solutions that address clients’ digital transformation needs.
