[Remote] Marketplace Growth Manager

Solutions 2 GO Inc. is a premier global distributor of video game products, seeking a Marketplace Growth Manager to lead their marketplace and ecommerce operations. The role involves strategic leadership and hands-on execution to drive marketplace growth, manage vendor relationships, and enhance overall marketplace capabilities.ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end product setup and listing execution across US and Canadian marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and others)Lead onboarding and integration of new vendors, products, and marketplace channelEnsure accuracy and compliance of all listing content, including titles, images, product attributes, shipping data, and regulatory requirementsMonitor listing health, suppressed listings, and policy compliance; proactively resolve issues impacting performance or visibilityPartner with vendors to collect and manage complete product data sets (pricing, dimensions, identifiers, imagery, compliance details)Coordinate fulfillment setup with internal Operations teams based on channel requirementsServe as a key point of contact for marketplace vendors and platform partners across North AmericaNegotiate pricing, commercial terms, promotional placements, and partnership agreementsConduct regular business reviews with vendors, communicating performance insights, risks, and growth opportunitiesIdentify and execute vendor monetization opportunities (e.g., advertising programs, promotions, value-added services)Manage commercial processes such as price protection, MDF, and account-specific agreements in collaboration with FinanceMaintain active relationships with marketplace platforms, ensuring strong account health and program participationSupport execution of marketplace strategy across all channels, translating strategic priorities into actionable plansIdentify and evaluate growth opportunities by channel, category, and vendor; drive implementation of approved initiativesContribute to pricing and promotional strategy, balancing growth, profitability, and competitivenessSupport assortment strategy decisions (what to carry, where, and why), with input on margin, brand, and customer experience considerationsMonitor marketplace trends, competitor activity, and platform changes to inform strategic directionBuild and document scalable workflows, SOPs, and operational tools to support marketplace growthTrack and report on core KPIs including revenue, sell-through, listing health, account performance, and fulfillment metricsDevelop and maintain pricing and margin models that account for marketplace fees, logistics, and profitability targetsAnalyze performance data to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement across listings, pricing, and operationsOwn recurring reporting, including weekly performance updates and forecast alignment by channel and product lineProvide actionable insights to support inventory planning and purchasing decisionsAct as the internal subject matter expert for marketplace operations, systems, and best practicesCollaborate closely with Vendor Services, Finance, Operations, IT, Sales, and Customer SupportRepresent the Marketplace team in cross-functional meetings, escalating risks, decisions, and opportunities as neededDrive process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the businessParticipate in trade shows, partner meetings, and industry events as requiredSkillsBachelor's degree or a combination of education and relevant experience5+ years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace operations, or digital account managementHands-on experience managing listings and catalogs on major marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, or similar)Experience negotiating commercial agreements, pricing, or vendor partnershipsStrong financial and commercial acumen (pricing, margin, profitability analysis)Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools a plusWorking knowledge of marketplace compliance, content standards, and fulfillment modelsExperience using CRM systems for account tracking and reportingAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentBuilder mindset; thrives in 0→1 environments and ambiguityStrong communication and negotiation skills in vendor and customer settingsSelf-directed, resourceful, and highly accountable for outcomesComfortable influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authorityHigh urgency and execution focusAbility to travel periodically to offices, fulfillment centers, and partner locationsExperience with marketplace management platforms; Rithum strongly preferredExperience in consumer electronics distribution, ecommerce, or marketplace environments is an assetCompany OverviewAt Solutions 2 GO (S2G), we go beyond distribution; we connect the world with the most exciting video gaming, electronics, and mobility products.
