[Remote] Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager plays a key role in crafting and executing the company’s marketing strategy, responsible for marketing planning, managing tradeshow and event activities, contributing to digital marketing initiatives, and ensuring effective CRM utilization.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in marketing strategic planning and turn marketing strategies into actional marketing plans aligned with business goalsMonitor industry and market trends, customer needs, and competitive insightsCollaborate with leadership, content, scientific and sales teams to align messaging and prioritiesInitiate marketing campaigns and track effectivenessPlan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of tradeshows, conferences, and customer events in assigned areasManage booth materials, logistics, vendor relationships, and onsite executionResponsible for accurate and prompt lead collection, entry into CRM, assignment to sales and marketing follow-upDevelop pre‑ and post‑event marketing promotions to maximize lead generation and follow‑upTrack event performance and recommend improvements for future participationContribute to digital marketing initiatives by working with dedicated content and digital marketing resources, including website content, SEO, paid media, email marketing, and social mediaManage content calendars to enhance brand awareness and lead generationMonitor digital analytics and optimize campaigns for performance and engagementServe as a member of the CRM team; develop workflows, segmentation strategies, and reporting dashboards for assigned areasUse CRM insights to refine marketing campaigns, nurturing effectiveness, and user behavior, and improve customer lifecycle managementSupport user adoption of HubSpot and Salesforce processes through documentation and operational guidanceAnalyze campaign, channel, and funnel performance across systemsProvide performance summaries explaining results, drivers, and optimization opportunitiesSupport post-campaign reviews and retrospectives to identify learnings and process improvementsMaintain recurring reports and dashboardsWork closely with marketing, sales, and BU teams to support campaign execution and lead managementMonitor feedback related to marketing engagement and effectiveness for continuous improvementConduct other functions as assignedSkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Life Sciences, or Chemistry3–7 years of experience in marketing, with exposure to planning, digital marketing, and event managementExcellent communication, writing, and presentation abilitiesStrong project management and organizational skillsBased in the greater San Diego areaExperience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)Experience in the life science, pharmaceutical development or medical device sectorsStrong analytical skills and mindsetAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on executionCompany OverviewWuXi AppTec provides a broad portfolio of R&D and manufacturing services that enable companies in the pharmaceutical.
