[Remote] Marketing Coordinator ? Marketing Operations & Vendor Management

Joshua Tree Experts is a rapidly scaling national brand seeking a Marketing Coordinator to optimize their vendor network and streamline marketing operations. This role focuses on managing vendor relationships and enhancing marketing workflows to support franchisees in executing effective marketing campaigns.
ā¢ Responsibilities
ā¢ Identify, vet, and onboard marketing specialist vendors (SEO agencies, web developers, AI consultants, ad agencies, etc.) to support franchisee needs
ā¢ Serve as primary liaison between vendors and internal teams, managing contracts, deliverables, timelines, and quality standards
ā¢ Oversee SEO & HubSpot vendors to optimize franchisee websites and landing pages for AI-enhanced search (e.g., Google SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity)
ā¢ Coordinate with design and development vendors for website updates, landing page creation, and digital asset production
ā¢ Monitor vendor performance through KPIs and regular check-ins, making recommendations for optimization or replacement as needed
ā¢ Build and maintain scalable marketing workflows and processes that support all franchisees consistently
ā¢ Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for marketing support functions
ā¢ Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies; propose and implement solutions
ā¢ Coordinate marketing technology integrations between platforms (SingleOps, HubSpot, Biz Dashboards, ad platforms, etc.)
ā¢ Track and report on operational metrics related to vendor performance, project completion rates, and franchisee satisfaction
ā¢ Design and implement AI-powered self-service portals (e.g., GPT-based Projects or custom LLM repositories) where franchisees can query marketing best practices, pull assets, and access resources independently
ā¢ Curate and organize marketing content, templates, brand guidelines, and training materials for easy franchisee access
ā¢ Explore emerging AI tools and technologies that can enhance marketing efficiency and effectiveness across the franchise network
ā¢ Train franchisees on using new tools and platforms through documentation, video tutorials, or live training sessions
ā¢ Own projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision, including scoping, planning, execution, and post-launch optimization
ā¢ Proactively identify opportunities to improve marketing operations, franchisee experience, and vendor relationships
ā¢ Collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing Manager, franchise support team, and technology vendors to drive initiatives forward
ā¢ Stay ahead of marketing technology trends and bring innovative ideas to the team
ā¢ Skills
ā¢ Tech Wizard: Demonstrated comfort with marketing technology platforms, project management tools, and emerging AI/LLM technologies
ā¢ Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow-through
ā¢ Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for vendor coordination and documentation
ā¢ Problem-Solving: Natural troubleshooter who can identify issues and develop practical solutions
ā¢ Initiative: Self-starter who takes ownership and drives projects forward without constant oversight
ā¢ Organized: Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills
ā¢ Experience working with AI tools, LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.), or AI-powered marketing platforms
ā¢ Familiarity with SEO, website optimization, or digital marketing fundamentals
ā¢ Experience in a franchise system or multi-location business environment
