[Remote] Marketing Communications Specialist - Vertical Markets & Solutions

ASSA ABLOY is the global leader in access solutions, seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to support sales initiatives across key vertical markets. The role involves executing marketing communications, creating promotional assets, and coordinating messaging for events while ensuring alignment with brand standards and market needs.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement marketing communication plans that support growth within priority vertical markets such as data centers, government, commercial real estate/national accounts, and retail, and solutions including sustainability, decorative, glass, and windstormCreate, update, and maintain marketing materials including brochures, sell sheets, presentations, websites, case studies, videos, email campaigns, trade show materials, social media content, and other promotional assetsCoordinate and support public relations activities, including drafting press releases, gathering customer success stories, and assisting in the development of thought-leadership contentCollaborate with the Experiential Marketing team to support messaging and asset creation for trade shows, industry events, and targeted field activationsWork closely with other marketing communications team members to ensure alignment across campaigns, vertical strategies, and solution portfoliosSupport communication needs related to partnerships and joint solution initiatives as assignedManage project timelines, reviews, and deliverables to ensure work is completed on time and within brand standardsCoordinate with external vendors, agencies, and contractors as needed for creative development, production, and distributionMaintain familiarity with competitive trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to continually refine messaging and contentPerform other duties and responsibilities as assignedSkillsExcellent organizational and time-management skills; Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical or complex concepts into clear, compelling messagesStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsDependable and accountableAlign with organizational valuesAbility to travel (up to 15%) and meet to the requirements of meetings, conferences, and eventsCollege/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: Marketing, Communications, or similar), or have work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma2 – 7 years of marketing or communications experience, preferably in a B2B or solution-focused environmentExperience creating content for digital and traditional channelsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) or similar toolsExperience with vertical marketing, segmentation, or industry-specific messagingTechnical aptitude and interest in learning about access solutions, building systems, or related technology marketsFamiliarity with marketing automation or email marketing toolsBenefitsBonusA 401(k) planEducation assistanceCompany OverviewASSA ABLOY Group is a door opening solutions, dedicated to satisfying end-user needs for security, safety, and convenience.
