The role involves engaging with potential customers, providing consultations on solar energy solutions, and maintaining strong customer relationships to promote sustainable energy adoption.ResponsibilitiesActively engage with potential customers and lead them through the solar conversion process from initial inquiry to installation completionProvide comprehensive consultation to clients on solar energy solutions, system design, financing options, and government incentivesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and fostering long-term loyaltyCollaborate with our in-house team of solar experts, engineers, and technicians to develop customized solutions for clientsTrack, analyze, and report on sales pipeline data, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet or exceed sales targetsAttend virtual conferences, webinars, and industry events to stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologiesConsistently provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns promptly and professionallySelf-Generate LeadsSkillsExceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyPassion for renewable energy and a commitment to environmental sustainabilityA minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industryCompany OverviewAt Mercer County Works, we help people get jobs through a dedicated job engine for Mercer County and its surrounding areas.
