This role involves developing and optimizing marketing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and driving measurable business growth through effective marketing activations.ResponsibilitiesLead the annual activation planning process, including budget management, resource allocation, and go-to-market prioritizationIdentify AFH channel opportunities and innovative activation approaches to drive competitive advantageEstablish KPIs, measurement frameworks, and reporting cadences to evaluate activation effectivenessPresent activation strategies, performance insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersDefine the strategic direction for marketing activations, ensuring they ladder to broader brand and business goalsOversee the development and execution of activation plans for Commercial, Non-Commercial & Distributor channelsAnalyze performance data to identify trends, optimize investment, and drive continuous improvement across campaignsLead the strategic development of Away from Home CRM and digital marketing programs, including email, customer journeys, web, mobile, and loyalty platformsDrive audience segmentation strategy and personalization initiatives to maximize engagement and conversionPartner with analytics and data teams to leverage insights for campaign optimization and customer lifecycle managementEvaluate and recommend new digital tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance marketing effectivenessDirect the creation of high-impact sales collateral, presentations, and enablement tools that support commercial objectivesEnsure all materials are strategically aligned with campaign narratives, brand positioning, and channel-specific needsOversee photography, video, and creative asset production, managing vendor relationships and ensuring quality standardsLead agency relationships across advertising, activation, promotion, and creative partners, serving as the primary strategic point of contactDevelop comprehensive creative briefs that articulate strategic objectives, audience insights, and success metricsManage agency performance, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring accountability and alignment with business goalsNegotiate contracts and evaluate agency capabilities to ensure best-in-class partnershipDefine the content strategy for foodservice and owned social channels, ensuring a cohesive brand narrativeOversee creative development and editorial planning, driving consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identityMonitor industry trends and competitive activity to inform content innovation and audience engagement tacticsDevelop the strategic vision for trade show and industry event participation, including objectives, investment, and success criteriaOversee end-to-end event planning and execution, including booth design, staffing strategy, and on-site brand experienceEvaluate event ROI and lead post-event analysis to inform future participation and investment decisionsBuild and maintain relationships with key industry organizations and event partnersSet the strategic direction for promotional merchandise programs, ensuring alignment with brand standards and campaign objectivesOversee inventory management, vendor relationships, and distribution logisticsEnsure all branded materials reinforce brand equity and deliver value across events, campaigns, and internal initiativesSkillsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred8 -10 years of progressive experience in marketing activation, brand marketing, or integrated marketing, preferably with Away from Home channelsDemonstrated experience managing agency relationships and multi-channel marketing programsProven track record of developing and executing strategies that deliver measurable business resultsExperience managing budgets and driving ROI accountabilityStrong proficiency in loyalty marketing, CRM platforms, and digital marketing toolsAdvanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and marketing technology platformsBenefitsParticipation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company resultsHealth insuranceWellness and family support programsLife and disability insuranceRetirement savings plansPaid leave programsEducation related programsPaid holidays and vacation timeSome of these benefits have eligibility requirements.Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.Company OverviewMondelēz International, Inc.
