[Remote] Market Research Consultant (Healthcare/Life Sciences)

The Research Consultant will contribute to or lead the design, execution, and analysis of healthcare-focused research studies for assigned client accounts while also developing client relationship skills and ensuring accountability in project deliverables.

Responsibilities
β€’ Co-creates with project leads the design of survey instruments and discussion guides that align with client objectives, demonstrating a solid grasp of survey design principles, language, and flow
β€’ Executes a variety of advanced research methods including quantitative techniques (e.g., conjoint analysis, segmentation) and qualitative approaches (e.g., structured messaging, journey mapping) with minimal support
β€’ Independently analyzes and creates comprehensive reporting plans that accurately reflect findings
β€’ Collaborates with project leads to generate insightful reports/presentations, with a focus on clear storytelling and actionable recommendations
β€’ Maintains an in-depth understanding of company/department processes, ensuring productive collaboration and consistently high-quality deliverables
β€’ Develops active listening with clients to ensure a clear understanding of their business objectives and long-term strategies
β€’ Participates in thought-provoking, consultative discussion regarding engagement objectives and tactical project scope with project leads
β€’ Proactively identifies and escalates client/project risks and opportunities with project leads
β€’ Builds upon feedback and experience to set clear, attainable goals and action plans to strengthen individual and team performance
β€’ Proactively identifies opportunities to streamline processes and improve client outcomes
β€’ Employs critical thinking to assess challenges and resolve client or project-related obstacles independently

Skills
β€’ Excellent written communication, oral communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders (internal and external)
β€’ Comfort in a client facing role, with the ability to interpret and present complex information clearly
β€’ Strong analytical, writing, editing, and data visualization skills, ensuring data is communicated in a clear and easily digestible manner
β€’ Demonstrated experience with market research solutions, tools, and methodologies
β€’ Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously while navigating changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
β€’ High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work outputs
β€’ Technologically adept, with a strong aptitude for learning new platforms and tools
β€’ Ability and willingness to travel up to 5% of time
β€’ Fluent in English
β€’ Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (business, psychology, economics, mathematics, social sciences)
β€’ 2+ years of professional service experience in a qualitative or quantitative-focused market research role
β€’ Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office, including specific strength in Word, Excel, and Outlook
β€’ Experience with the Adobe Acrobat Suite of tools
β€’ High degree of comfort with videoconferencing and desktop-sharing software (i.e., Zoom, Teams)
β€’ Willingness to learn and use new platforms/programs
