[Remote] Market Operations Analyst (International Remote Hire)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MEMX is searching for a Market Operations Analyst to join our International Team. The primary focus of this role is customer service, ensuring timely responses and ticket logging for all interactions while monitoring and troubleshooting the exchange.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Answering phone calls from clients
ā¢ Responding to emails and Jira tickets
ā¢ Verifying and monitoring trading and clearing systems
ā¢ Investigating issues using internal and external tools
ā¢ Liaising with other Market Operations team members and other internal/external groups to resolve issues
ā¢ Ad-hoc project work as required
Skills
ā¢ 3 to 5 years or more of trade desk or operations desk experience at a broker dealer or exchange
ā¢ Effective and clear communicator that is able to handle complex issues with customers and internal groups in high pressure situations
ā¢ Experience supporting FIX and SBE Protocols
ā¢ Strong data analytics capabilities with the ability to write basic queries in SQL, Groovy or Python
ā¢ Must be confident working with real-time monitoring to identify issues and help solve problems
ā¢ Knowledge of U.S. equity markets, market structure, and clearing
ā¢ Willingness to obtain necessary licenses as directed by Compliance
ā¢ Desire to learn new things and be flexible in a quickly changing environment
ā¢ Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously in a complex operational setting
ā¢ Self-starter who can work independently
