[Remote] Market Intelligence Analyst

The International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) is focused on maximizing member value and experience by delivering strategic insights into the global accountancy profession. The Market Intelligence Analyst will conduct research and analysis on market dynamics and regulatory trends to inform strategic decision-making and enhance IFAC's member value proposition.ResponsibilitiesConduct in-depth research on industry trends, regulatory developments, market dynamics, and the evolving role of professional accountants to inform strategic decision-makingAnalyze member organization needs, stakeholder perspectives, and external trends to refine IFAC’s engagement and advocacy strategiesIn conjunction with the Head of Research and the Communications department, provide data-driven insights to support IFAC’s policy positions and publicationsTrack key metrics relevant to the global accountancy profession, including regulatory changes, sustainability reporting adoption, digital transformation trends, and workforce dynamicsIn collaboration with the Head of Research, develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations to Senior LeadershipPartner with Senior Leadership to translate market data intelligence into actionable initiativesIdentify new topics, global issues, and new opportunities for IFAC research, advocacy, or member initiativesOversee the management of the stakeholder database and knowledge repositories, ensuring data accuracy to support strategic engagement, preserve institutional knowledge, and promote effective information sharing across the organizationSkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Accountancy, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field0-2 years of experience in market intelligence, competitive analysis, research, or strategic insights, preferably within a professional services or global non-profit organizationStrong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear insights and recommendationsProficiency in research and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and comfort working with large datasetsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear reports and deliver presentations to varied audiencesAbility to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams, stakeholders, and senior leaders, including officials from external organizations and governmentsAbility to work effectively across diverse culturesStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, including those imposed externallyCommitment to quality processes and high-quality deliverablesStrong interpersonal skills, with flexibility especially importantComfort working with complex or technical subject matter and making it accessible to broader audiencesExperience with content management systems, email platforms, or social media toolsFamiliarity with accounting, regulation, or public interest policyBenefitsGroup healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance401 (k) planDeferred compensation planCompany OverviewIFAC, by connecting and uniting its members, makes the accountancy profession truly global.
