[Remote] Marine Structures Project Manager

The Marine Structures Project Manager will lead and deliver complex waterfront and coastal infrastructure projects, managing a team of engineers and designers while ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction throughout all project phases.ResponsibilitiesManage and mentor a team of engineers and designers in the development of waterfront structure projectsOversee all project phases including preliminary site visits, conceptual planning, zoning and permitting coordination, design development, and final construction documentsDevelop and approve project scopes, budgets, and schedules, ensuring delivery within established goalsPrepare proposals for professional services and funding opportunities; review and approve project documents for quality assurance and complianceServe as the primary client point of contact, maintaining strong relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for future workCollaborate with the Practice Leader to strengthen existing client relationships and pursue new business opportunitiesMonitor and achieve project financial goals, consistently ensuring profitability and efficiencySupervise and provide technical guidance to staff, serving as an advisor on engineering challenges and innovative solutionsLead the preparation of project reports, submittals, and technical documentationConduct site visits to gather existing conditions, provide construction support, and perform inspectionsWork with the Project Assistant on project setup, billing, invoicing, and closeoutTrain, mentor, and support the professional development of junior engineers and staffSkillsBachelor's Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 4 years of related professional experience, or 8 years of equivalent professional experienceParticipation in continuing education and professional development programsProven experience in project management roles, with a track record of successful project deliveryDemonstrated leadership abilities to inspire and motivate project teamsStrong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholdersDeep technical knowledge in the specific field of the projectExpertise in project management software and tools, with the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentationKnowledge of industry standards and best practices related to project management, quality assurance, and safety protocolsEffective problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast-paced environmentStrong negotiation skills to manage multiple contracts, scope changes, and stakeholder agreements effectivelyStrong comprehension of accounting principles to effectively manage project budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocationPE is required for this positionAbility to complete the KCI PM Training and Contract Risk Training along with passing the PM Board within 6 months of start datePre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.
