[Remote] Marine Service Engineer

They are seeking a Marine Service Engineer who will work directly with PALFINGER cranes, lifeboats, and life-saving equipment, performing inspections, commissioning, repairs, and global service missions.ResponsibilitiesPerform service, testing, commissioning, and annual/5-year inspections on lifeboats, davits, winches, and Palfinger cranes worldwideDiagnose, repair, overhaul, and maintain hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems using OEM parts and specificationsConduct Safe Job Analyses and complete accurate service documentation, reports, and required paperworkCommunicate clearly with the Service Coordinator, Service Manager, and customers regarding job progress and findingsTest and verify equipment performance after service or repair to ensure safety, compliance, and operational integritySkillsTechnical background with hands-on experience in hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systemsPrior experience in service engineering, maintenance, or field service rolesStrong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teamsPhysically fit, safety-focused, and willing to travel globally as required, including working at heights and lifting heavy equipmentMarine or offshore industry experience preferred, with exposure to cranes or life-saving equipmentBenefitsCompetitive compensation.Retirement Plan.Medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and short- and long-term disability (depending upon state).
