[Remote] Manufacturing Test Engineer (In-Circuit Testing (ICT)/Functional Testing (FCT)/PCBA Testing)

The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining and improving existing test solutions while supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.ResponsibilitiesBuild, qualify, and maintain test fixtures and associated hardware for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) and electronic systemsSupport production testing activities and ensure test equipment remains operational and effectiveMaintain and improve existing test solutions, fixtures, and test stationsTroubleshoot tester issues and support manufacturing teams with failure analysis and debugging activitiesAnalyze test data and failure modes to identify root causes and implement corrective actionAssist in reducing equipment downtime and improving test throughputDocument test procedures, fixture specifications, and troubleshooting findingsSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing test processesWork closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure efficient test operationsSkillsBS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field preferred3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, test engineering, or production test supportExperience building, qualifying, and maintaining test fixtures and test hardwareExperience supporting PCBAs and electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of SMT board-level testing and electronic assembly test methodologiesExperience with test automation frameworks and production test environmentsExperience performing failure analysis, root cause investigations, and tester debuggingFamiliarity with test coverage concepts and manufacturing test processesStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsIn-Circuit Testing (ICT)Functional Testing (FCT)PCBA TestingBoard-Level TestingElectronic Assembly TestingTest Fixture Design and ValidationTest AutomationData Acquisition SystemsStatistical Process Control (SPC)IPC-A-610 StandardsManufacturing Test Equipment SupportCompany OverviewHireXtra | The Intelligence Behind Your Workforce We are revolutionizing global talent acquisition.
