[Remote] Manufacturing Engineering Technician

The role involves building advanced manufacturing hardware, maintaining production assets, and optimizing lab environments to enhance assembly throughput.ResponsibilitiesProcure, assemble, and test new equipment, including mechanical, electrical and pneumatic component assembly and integration, to fulfill validation and manufacturing requirementsPhysically manage receipt and storage of materials as they arriveWork with engineering to support documentation of equipment including assembly drawing, test protocol, and manufacturing methodsCreate and release ECOs for minor updatesDocument test results using paper and electronic means (Word, Excel, SAP)Assist with lab organization (5S) and coordinating efficient material transfer flow between planning and equipment engineers to support build timelinesCoordinating execution of equipment shipments between US and international sites (e.g. crating and labeling)Conduct basic troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment issues and provide relevant line support (e.g. equipment adjustment and repair)SkillsMin 3 - 5 years of experienceExperience in planning, ordering, assembling, validating, and supporting manufacturing equipmentHands-on with proven ability to work well in a team environmentMechanical/electrical assembly aptitude; Soldering experience a plusProficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Good communication and documentation skills.
