They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, implement new technologies, and ensure compliance with environmental laws while maintaining product quality and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and optimize production line workflows to ensure balanced task distribution, applying time and motion studies to validate standard times and takt timeCollaborate with production and operations teams to implement changes and sustain balanced line performanceDesign more efficient systems to integrate workers, machines, and materials through data collection on time studiesEstablish processes and procedures to optimize cost and quality of manufacturing methodsLead and coach A3 problem solving efforts related to process opportunitiesAssist in the documentation of regulatory information related to new processes or process changes (Work instructions (EWI), Visual aids critical to quality (EVAQ), Standard Work (SWI), paint recipes and process control formats)Identify, develop and implement new technologies at manufacturing processSupport continuous improvement projects and assist in process development/qualificationProvide technical support to track data for main detractors of yieldImplement, monitoring, control and/or logging systems with the Process Technician, and other designated members as directed by the Director of EngineeringParticipate and promote process characterization projectsAdditional duties as assignedSkillsBA/BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Electronics EngineeringMinimum of two to four (2 -4) years of experience within a manufacturing engineering roleHands on experience on software applications, i.e., AutoCAD, Solid Works, Master CAM, MS Office, Minitab and SAPCross functional experience in manufacturing processesExperience with line balancing projectsBilingual English/Spanish is a plusLean-sigma knowledge and Green Belt / Black Belt a plusBenefitsMedicalDental401(k)Paid time offEquipment purchase programCompany OverviewSince 1946, Fender has revolutionized music and culture as one of the world’s leading musical instrument manufacturers, marketers and distributors.
