Remote Manual QA Tester (SAS & Python)
A healthcare insurance provider is looking for a Manual QA Tester to support a critical data migration initiative by comparing and validating SAS code running in Teradata against Python code deployed in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires deep expertise in both SAS and Python, with a strong understanding of data structures, logic, and transformation processes. The QA Tester will be responsible for manually executing test cases, identifying discrepancies between legacy and migrated systems, and documenting results with precision. While the current testing framework is manual, the ideal candidate will proactively suggest and potentially implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy. This is a hands-on role that demands analytical rigor, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience testing and validating both SAS code in Teradata and Python code in GCP environments
Strong understanding of data migration processes, especially in comparing outputs across different platforms
Demonstrated ability to perform manual testing with high accuracy and attention to detail
Familiarity with SQL and data validation techniques across large datasets
Ability to identify opportunities for automation and contribute to process improvements
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Healthcare domain experience
